Uttarpara Prerana has celebrated Childrens’ day on 30th October. 30th October is the birthday of Eminent Litterateur Sukumar Roy. Prerana has decided to celebrate childrens’ day in place of traditional 14th November. This auspicious programme took held at Community Center in Raghunathpur bazar from 6 pm. Many Educationalist alongwith the Panchayet Pradhan were present at the programme. Many cultural events were at the programme. The main attraction was the magic show. All students of Prerana’s free coaching center were present at that programme. Eminent persons discussed about the life and works of Sukumar Roy.
