Uttarpara Prerana Brings Flood Relief to Bhutni, Malda

Uttarpara Prerana extended humanitarian support to flood-affected communities in Bhutni, Malda, on 21 September 2026, following severe flooding that affected numerous villages and forced many residents to take shelter in schools and other government-designated relief centres.

As part of this relief initiative, Uttarpara Prerana arranged essential supplies for more than 1,000 people affected by the floods. The distribution included over 1,000 bottles of drinking water, 1,050 packets of puffed rice (chira), biscuits, cakes, new clothes, and other essential relief materials.

The entire relief distribution was completed within just one and a half hours, ensuring that much-needed assistance reached more than 1,000 people in a short period.
